The Screw Crease is a traditional saddlers tool, also known as a Creasing Iron.
The new generation screw crease incorporates the original George Barnsley & Sons design, but has been updated and refined to give a superior leather creasing tool of the highest quality.
The highly polished shield-shaped head is split into two halves with the distance between them controlled by a thumb screw. It has a blunt blade, once the blade is warmed, it is used for imprinting lines on the surface of leather.
