Armitage Leather & Just Wood have created the next high quality leather tool in their range for leathercraft workers - a hand slicker tool.

There are two versions - one with FLAT grooves and one with ROUNDED grooves to ensure customers can select the best tool that works for them whatever the product they are making.

It is 7½ inches (190mm) long and 1¼ inches (32mm) in diameter, which makes the tool manageable and stable in the hand and gives a greater surface area when slicking.

Comprising 6 individual grooves - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm - being the most popular sizes for the majority of leathercraft workers.

The concept of slicking the edge of leather is not a new one, but little thought to the angle of the edges seems to have shone through with many tools available today.
